This sounds like a feature that should have always been there from the start, but it wasn't and no one has requested for it until recently. @Quarter created a post asking how they could change their password, but there wasn't a way to do that, so we added it. You can now change your password in your edit profile page!
There is an optional "Update password?" checkbox. Simply put a check on that and you can change your password.
Please let us know if you run into any issues or have any other requests for updates.
P.S. Alternatively there was also the way to change your password simply by using the "Forgot Password" feature, which also allowed you to update your password, however that method is inconvenient.
Thank you for responding! However, it appears to not be working: I tried my new password several times, but I kept getting the message: Incorrect Old Password. (Why is it old?) I then tried an easy password to see if I just mistyped it that many times, but I got the same response. I logged out and logged back in using my old password and it worked, so that confirms that my password was not changed.
Also, I used the "Forgot Password?" feature, and that did change my password.
@Quarter Alright I'll take a look. That error should only appear if your "Old" or "Current" password was incorrect. I will take a look though and see what else could be happening (and maybe change it from "Old" to "Current")
@Quarter Well I tried it several times, and it works! I updated my password a few times and signed in with the new password successfully each time. I think you may have just entered your current password incorrectly? The error message has been updated now though to make it a lot more clear, and also a new "Confirm New Password" box has been added.
@AYearAgoToday It works now! I think I know what happened: I read it wrong thinking that the 2 boxes to fill out were "New Password" and "Confirm New Password", so I just typed the same password twice. That's why I was confused with the error message saying "Incorrect Old Password" because I didn't remember seeing one at all. My bad :P.
