Gym 2 – Keta [Fighting] – Level Cap: 25
Team:
- Havoc Song the Hariyama [MVP] – Our first NBW scout. Raised him up for the factory sidequest to counter the enemy’s Porygon who was sweeping my team with Tri Attack. Then the gym leader’s Lucario was sweeping my team with rock attacks, so he got pulled back onto the team.
- Jackfruit the Xatu – Finisher for The Reckoning. She has no psychic moves, but that’s okay. Air Slash is great dps and buffed by the field effect.
- Lyric the Chimecho – Head pupsitter.
- Astrika the Vivillon – Dreamworld changeling, scout, pupsitter.
- Arson the Fletchinder
- Cryptic the Woobat [LVP] – Chaser for Ghost River. Hadn’t evolved by the time I took on the gym. “He still doesn’t trust you,” says HGR. Thankfully he didn’t need to fight.
Bench:
- Mango & Sago the Drowzee – She got booted in favor of Havoc Song because her stats suck. She doesn’t evolve until level 26, rip.
Notable others:
- Moondew Jackal the Xatu: Daughter of Jack x Gwydion (weird fanfic but ok). Has better IVs than her mom, but a worse nature (mom has a lovely +sp.atk nature; daughter is +atk -spd), so she’s slightly inferior overall. Still, very solid dps. Both her and her mom kicked ass in the fight against Keta’s shadow.
