Very fun ride out today. I dominated every obstacle I went through, it was so much fun. I went to that hard hill again and conquered it. Just for fun I went to a nearby park and there were a bunch of people on bikes and walking around, the entire park was closed off to cars so everyone was on the road, so there was plenty of space to go around. I passed by so many other cyclists, it just felt like total domination and no one was able to catch up to me. What slowed down my time was going on the sidewalks and encountering these upwards jutting parts of the sidewalk where tree roots have pushed the concrete up, I don't pedal when I encounter those since it can be risky, and there were a lot of those I encountered. I'm on the sidewalk most of the time anyway, I wonder what my average speeds would be if I were just on the roads the entire time?
I'm filling out this record very early in the morning at 6:52 AM, it still says I have 18 hours of recovery left after yesterday's activity!! Usually it gives me 12 hours of recovery time, it seems like this time my recovery time for that activity was 30 hours. I guess because it was a very intense one! However I am already fully recovered, I feel like I can go and bicycle right now with the same limitless energy I had yesterday.
