“Anyone feel like…” HGR said.
“…total shite?” I suggested.
“A crusty crustacean,” he said. “Do your work.”
I pulled up my email to make sure nothing new had come in. “I don’t have any.”
A few minutes later, he said: “Shit creek. We’re up it.” And he exited the call to go back to bed.
newbie posted a picture in chat indicating that HGR should try updating his drivers. Thanks newbie!!
On a lighter note, newbie and HGR are continuing their Valheim playthrough after a few months’ hiatus. It happened like this: newbie was complaining about how they never finished their playthrough. HGR pointed out that newbie was the one who didn’t want to continue and was talking about shutting down the server. newbie said it’s because HGR bitches all the time and brings down the mood. HGR promised he would be jovial.
So now they’re back to playing, and HGR is incredibly jovial. Every single thing is “Wow! Another great X from Iron Gate Studios!” He recently decided to spec into wizardry and got a fireball spell. “What an innovative new way to experience combat! Iron Gate Studios has done it again!” However, it turns out the miniboss of the mistlands is strong against fire. “What incredible design from Iron Gate Studios!” etc, etc, etc. newbie is like “fuckkkk” but he can’t complain because it’s what he asked for.
