After a couple days taking a break from PoE2, I’ve calmed down about the whole thing. It helps to get a little perspective.
First of all, last night, meisnewbie (brilliant physicist and undisputed god gamer) streamed PoE2. He just reached endgame on his monk and was attempting a tier 3 corrupted nexus. He put in a waystone (with increased monster damage, which HGR would consider a brick) and was confused that it didn’t work. I explained that although it had 4+ lines of text, it only had 3 affixes. So newbie orbed it up and entered, and then used all three of his revives on random monster packs near the start of the map. He also tried a Vaal temple and died like 10 times to the boss.
Conclusion: PoE2 is just a tough game.
Second, roommate (a noted intellectual) was like “didn’t we get a rotisserie chicken?” and I was like “yeah, it’s still in the bag, top shelf of the fridge, on top of the hot dogs.” Then he was like ?? how do I open this?? because it had a slider zipper pull.
Conclusion: I am poor at PoE2 mechanics, but I am pretty okay at rotisserie chicken bag mechanics. It evens out, maybe.
