First Entry

Ok, sort-of daily journalling habit attempt. We'll see how this goes.

Dunno if I'll stick with this website, or use TiddlyWiki, or what. This website might be easier, as I can access it from anywhere, but TiddlyWiki is something I've learned to use already. On the upside, this website just works. TiddlyWiki I will have to poke at. Even though I like the arrangements of a Wiki, and I can use it to keep track of my RPG stuff, and work stuff, and journal, and whatever. Its just an everything resource.

Weekly type stuff:

  • Asked Julie about getting a new phone. She has the menu I can pick from for a free one somewhere, she will get it to me sometime and I'll just pick off the list. Will make it easier to pick since its a list and not every phone in the world. I'm kind of hoping for a foldy type one. No more Samsungs: The last one has enough gimmicky user interface things that I just do not want in the phone. Bixby, slide outs if I swipe wrong, just... no. I want it to work, and I don't want to have to figure out how to clear out the built in stuff.
  • New people at work. Owen, Erica. Owen is a high school student we have for the summer, will work Saturdays. Erica is a 3rd year chemistry student, very clever, thinking of going into pharmacy and wants to see it up close from behind the counter. Going to give her a try, she's doing it for free so why not.
  • Next week is my first week with Sarah (i think?), my latest PACE student. Seemed nice at the meeting. 1 week of warm up, then 2 weeks of actual PACE. Yay, more marking and evaluating.
  • Got Trish and the Boyz out for a walk. I know the boys get outside a lot at school, and do their running around there so I'm not that worried about them. But Trish... its a rare day to get her out of the bedroom lately. She's up there right now, on her phone and tablet. Stupid videos, good chance they are AI slop romances of some sort. And the endless phone games. Worried a bit.

Anyways, that's probably a good first entry. Time to poke at TiddlyWiki and see if I can get that up and running. I could copy paste of the desktop I guess? Should work that way, I don't need any special app or whatever. Its basic HTML with some backbone added.
