BB thinks the word “pickle” is the funniest thing ever. This has been a thing for the past year or so. He’ll just randomly say “pickle!!” and then bust out laughing. We don’t know if this is something he picked up at daycare or if it’s his own personal joke.
I don’t get it, but in a deeper sense I do get it, because finding random things hilarious is an iconic part of being a kid. When I was small, Mom and Dad brought us along to a conference. We were staying in some kind of dormitory, and brother and I decided the building lobby was wobbly. The wobbly wobby. This was genuinely the funniest thing ever. We were laughing about it for the entire trip. Even now. someone mentions a lobby and a very small voice in the back of my head is like “wobbly wobby.”
