Got Tax Work Done

Something that I've procrastinated on for a while is some personal taxes. I get an extension practically every year, so instead of April 15th, mine is due on October 15th. Why do I procrastinate? It's probably because it's something that I think will take me several painful days to work on. In reality, it took basically an hour or two to gather up my documents and files that I needed to submit to my tax advisor. That's it. It literally took me just an hour or two this morning for everything. I've been procrastinating this entire time thinking it would take many hours or even a few days instead. I'll have to keep this in mind for the future.

My "Amazing Day" a few days ago was in fact amazing, and that's because I did decent activities on that day. Today was quite good because I did get work done that I've been procrastinating on for months. However, I didn't do much else today. So today wasn't as amazing. Anyway my taxes haven't been submitted yet either, I only submitted it to my tax advisor. He has to file my taxes next. There's still a few other steps involved, but for the most part, I finished my part.

What else? I've been watching this anime called Undead Unluck over the weekend and finished the entire firs season, 24 episodes, today. I remember when this anime came out a few years ago, during the time I would just put anime on in the background while I worked on things. So I didn't really watch this anime back then, it was something I barely watched in the background. I didn't like it at the time thinking, because I didn't even watch any of it at the time except some glances, I thought the main male character was too macho and bravado and that he just had some lame power where he couldn't die. Now I think that he is a Man's Man sort of character, and his power is actually unique in its interpretation.

It's weird I didn't see how his power of immortality was implemented at the time. I thought he was just invulnerable this entire time, but actually he's not. His power is a very unique take on immortality. In fact the entire series is quite unique in how it handles superpowers. The entire story too, is more than what's in the surface level of the first few episodes. It's quite a deep story, kind of insane really. The writers for it are extremely creative. They made it so basically different "concepts" in the world like language, gender, and the universe, are "rules" introduced when the superpowered people fail quests. In the beginning of the story there are no stars or galaxies, just the earth, moon, and sun, and the rest of the galaxy was added when they failed a quest. Super unique.

Anyway, that was my day today.
