Day 4 of the steroid cream and I’m starting to get some relief, maybe? Thighs are still super itchy at times, but perhaps less frequently than before. Upper back has mostly cleared up. On the downside, I seem to have a new patch on my lower back. Perfect conditions for fighting the Lindwurm.

We finally beat the Tyrant at the end of Sunday’s session last week. This week, we accepted the Echo and beat him five more times for gear. fflogs puts all Echo parses in Echo jail, which makes sense. 28% though! Green parse! I’ll take it!

After that, we had around 45 minutes to check out the Lindwurm, patron saint of dermatological issues. Already we’ve encountered a shriek mechanic (face your shriek out of the arena) where the shriek is oriented in a random direction denoted on your person. I have so much trouble with this mechanic—specifically, the random orientation—every time it occurs. (see: Iconoclasm, Lindwurm normal) In fact, I die in Lindwurm normal every time you have to get knocked in a random direction towards the safespot. This might be one of those things that’s easier in savage than normal, because in normal I have to sightread the safespot, whereas in savage we will map the possible spots and have calls.

He literally can’t do it!! He refoliates faster than he can exfoliate! That’s the whole point of the plot, which HGR skipped!
