Back in Virginia

11:58 PM

Well I maintained "being a different person" for a day. I reverted back to my old self for the most part. I watched an anime episode or two today, and I read some manga. Of course I still completed my work, but I also did these waste of time activities.

I blame it on only having around 3 hours of sleep today. I fell asleep at around 12:30 AM to 1 AM, and I set an alarm to wake me up at 4 AM, because I had a flight at 7 AM. Originally I set the alarm to be at 5 AM, but then I was like, I really need to make this flight, so I just made it 4 AM. And it was good that I did, because I made it to the airport at around 5 AM, meaning that it took me an hour. The flight started boarding at 6:25 AM, so I barely would have made it pass security before boarding starts, if I had woken up at 5 AM.

So I woke up pretty groggy this morning. I threw away the vegan tiramisu and cookies that Tony gave me last night, because he gave me so much, and I couldn't eat them all right now. I was way too buy preparing to leave home. It took me probably 20 minutes to get prepared, and then another 20-30 minutes to get an Uber. Yeah, I just waited a long time for an Uber, apparently not too many people are willing to drive around at 4 AM.

Actually, the main reason I woke up at 4 AM was because of the traffic. From my ample experience in PR, by 6 AM there is already traffic, a ton of traffic. Driving to a place that would take 10 minutes without any traffic, might take 30 minutes at 6 AM traffic. Yeah, the traffic in PR is horrific. Don't even think about driving anywhere from 6-9 AM or 4-7 PM, because the traffic at those times are the worst. Truly the worst traffic situations that I have been in.

This is why I do most of my shopping at night time, after 8 PM at Costco, and after 10 PM at Wal-Mart. Any other time, and there's just too much traffic. I've done it at other times before, and it really is just a dreadful experience. I am definitely considering moving out, if an opportunity elsewhere opens up for me. Right now I'm stuck there unless something pulls me in some other direction elsewhere.

On my flight today, I had my own row. Well, not initially, but the flight was pretty empty, and there were a lot of open rows. So I ended up taking up another row. I used it to lie down as soon as the seatbelt light turned off. You are supposed to sit upright with the seatbelt on until the seatbelt light turns off, then you can do whatever. It was cool, the flight attendants let me lie down and sleep in my row. I've had this experience a few times, and it's always great. I love being able to lie down on a plane, even though it is a bit uncomfortable and my legs are placed awkwardly, just being able to lie down with my back straight is such a good feeling.

I felt good today. I look good again. I am still fat, yes, and that's horrible. But my face and hair look really nice now. I paid $55 for my haircut last night, it was $35 for a men's haircut, plus $4 tax, and then I gave a $15 tip because the barber and I talked for around an hour, and he shared so much, and we had such a good time. He also called me guapo a lot, which means handsome. He said that he likes working with Asian hair best because it's so nice and smooth, says it's his favorite hair to work on. Is there really any difference? He thought I was Japanese too.

When I feel confident in looking good, that's when I have the least fear in going out and exercising. It's just a big confidence boost. Right now I feel like I should go out right now, even though it's 12 AM, and go for a jog. If I had my other haircut from a few days ago, I would not have felt this way.

Anyway I guess I did terribly today. Because I did horrible activities today.

I just spent a lot of time watching random videos and even reading manga. I could have been doing other things.

Anyway, that was my day today.
