toddler enrichment

Brother’s on sabbatical for two weeks, and he and his wife are off to Italy. Mom and Dad are babysitting BB. I’m heading down to help the babysitting effort from Tuesday to Friday.

Still mulling over the “human enrichment” thing. Frost recently said: “So y’all know I work in a jail. We have zero people in because of the construction. So we turned off all the lights and all the screens excluding a sky camera from across town and we plugged in a fan and are just watching the cars go by. I am dead because we are legit like zoo animals and this is our enrichment.” And then he gave squirrelcam updates of what they saw passing by, which was quite entertaining.

Anyway, Mom and Dad are providing BB with all the human enrichment a little guy could want (and posting pics every day in the family chat). They went to the zoo TWICE and he got to ride the carousel and the train. They went to the nature preserve to feed the fish. They went to multiple “trunk or treat” events and to the mall to see Christmas decorations. Obviously they went to Culver’s for ice cream.

Man though…kids are so excited by everything. Today Dad took the car to get serviced and brought BB with him, and there was a big playroom in the dealership. Dad posted pics of him looking absolutely overjoyed.

So hyped to head down tomorrow!
