Visited Random Places

Today is Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, and it was a pretty good day today. Since I'm writing this entry a couple of days in the future, my memory of it isn't as good. Even though this only occurred a few days ago, it can still be quite difficult to recall what happened.

We had breakfast, and then walked over to the area where all the hop on hop off buses were. We ordered our tickets, and then we stood in line to get on the Belem line that would go around the city. There was a man that sold a hat to my dad. Another man came by and started soliciting me next, trying to sell me a hat. He made me try one on, and it looked good, he enticed me to buy it, so I did.

We made a deal for $12, but we only had $10 in cash but we didn't know that. So my dad gave him $10 and then looked further for a $1 bill, and he said sorry he didn't have any extra bills, and I tried to give the hat back, but the man kept refusing to take it back, and asked my mom for the $2 which she didn't have tomorrow, and again I tried to give my hat back and he wouldn't take it, and he just walked away.

I'll give a spoiler, which I didn't write about in November 5th's entry, because I forgot about it. But my dad exchanged some dollars into Euro, and so the next day when we saw him, as we got in line for the Castle Line, we gave him 2 Euro, and he was so excited and so happy, he was like "AMIGOS!!!" or the Portuguese equivalent, it sounded like Amigos. He was all smiles. Anyway, that was the next day, Thursday.

Back to today, Wednesday. We got on the Belem line, and just went around places. We would stop at random spots, take a look around, take pictures, get back on the bus, and yeah. This kept going on for a while. You can see the pictures below.

There's not really anything else eventful that happened here. Just that. Oh yeah, I think today was the day we ate at McDonald's and ordered fully vegan meals. So awesome. We ordered 1 McVeggie no cheese, 2 McVeggies smoked no cheese, 12 Veggie Nuggets, 3 drinks, 3 medium fries, all for 21 euro or $23. Crazy good price for a meal. All the animal burgers were more expensive, some being more than 2x the cost of a McVeggie, just for a burger, and not even including a meal like ours did.
