white stone variety pack

September 26 – Lately, my roommate has been waking up around midnight and making breakfast. Which is fine, you do you. But it makes me hungry. Garlic frying in the pan! Crispy chicken strips right out of the oven! I'm not supposed to be eating at this time of night, dammit.

October 1 – I feel like I'm always falling short on one thing or another. Like today, I did some drawing (didn't turn out great, but we can't all be winners); I had a productive work day; and I had a great time in the evening playing Terraria with HGR and newbie. But I haven't done much walking and I didn't cook dinner (I just put some frozen foods in the oven, which I've been trying to cut down on).

It's not just today. Look at July—I did a bunch of art for artfight, but I barely read any books. In August I got back to reading and gaming and had a fantastic time, but my steps plummeted. I guess there's only so much time in a day.

October 2 – Six months, three haircuts. This one didn't turn out so great. I put it off for a few weeks, so my bangs were way too long, and then I overcompensated by cutting them way too short. I look like a dork. Oh well; that's why I waited until after Dad's visit and my work Zoom event.

October 4 – I've been considering quitting The Alchemist Code for quite some time, but I'm sticking with it for now because I've co-opted it into a productivity routine. I habitually walk while doing my dailies, so "gotta do my dailies" is synonymous with "gotta get up and do some walking." Conversely, walking in my living room is pretty boring, so I appreciate having something mindless to do while pacing up and down.

October 5 – Monday morning. "Maybe today is randomly a holiday," I said to myself. I checked. It's not. (But next Monday is. Get hype)
