8:39 AM (of Thursday, December 10th 2020)
Today is Wednesday, December 9th 2020 and it was normal but much more productive day today. I woke up very late at around 7:30 AM, and I don't think I did that much in the morning. Yeah, this was one of my more unproductive mornings since the only things I did were wake up, eat some breakfast, and then write yesterday's entry. It wasn't as much as yesterday when I did a lot more personal tasks for a few hours in the morning catching up on things.
This is what I spent my time on today:
I started work at around 9 AM, and it was a very normal and uneventful work day. My boss wanted some files from a project I haven't been able to work on in like 5 months, so this was kind of a stressful situation. I had to remember and rummage through different files and folders comparing file changes hoping that my previous self had properly committed some changes. Anyway I remembered I had already put all these files in a folder a few months ago, so I was able to use that thankfully.
After that there were some issues reported by a client yesterday that I worked on until the end of the day yesterday, and then I picked up on that work again this morning. This issue turned out to be much simpler than I thought and I could have resolved it faster if I were paying more attention.
After that I kept on working on the revisions and updates on one of the previous items I had completed until the end of the day.
After work I browsed the Internet for a bit, but not for that long. I got bored of Discord and a lot of other websites, so I didn't spend much time browsing or chatting. Apparently I still spent like 3 hours total doing unproductive things, but this is far less than normal which would be around 8 hours of unproductive activities on weekdays and 13 on weekends.
I played Beat Saber a few times indoors today, each time I was sweating a lot. I've had to change shirts 3 times today.
I put on some music for the first time in ages and just worked on some personal projects I have. It's been a while, like a few months or so. This was a comfortable experience and I was able to work for a few hours. I knew I had homework due tonight, and it honestly felt so nice working on my personal project ahead of homework.
At around 9:30 PM, I worked on my math homework due today. It was due at 11:55 PM and I had just a few hours to read all the study material and then work on all the assignments. But there's a special shortcut to all this, and that's watching the videos. The professor put up some videos, and I just watch these at 1.5x speed to understand the subject and lectures. Okay last week's assignments were extremely hard and I was struggling learning the material and doing the homework even with 3 days of time (I started the homework on Monday I think and put a few hours each day until Wednesday). This week's assignments were extremely easy.
I was able to complete all the homework assignments in time, and I think I got all the answers correct. This week was extremely easy compared to last week. I don't even know why I waited until 2 hours right before the assignments were due to begin working on them, because if this were last week, I would have failed. I would have needed 2 full hours to just study the material in the first place, and then another 5-6 hours working on the assignments.
