I had a quiz this afternoon that I haven’t yet studied, so I studied while I ate my lunch. When it’s time to take the quiz, the first question didn’t have any choices below it, and the context of it was wholesome (you can see below the pic). As I scrolled down the succeeding questions, I was in awe because our teacher stated that he would give us a 100 for this quiz, so basically we all get a score of 100 for this last quiz. It’s just so wholesome that I screenshot everything and sent it to my friends, and shared it here as well. Although I feel like I don’t deserve this, ‘cause I admit I would always look on my notes during quizzes if I got the right answer just to have a passing grade. But I’m glad that this semester is almost done :)) although yes I know I’m going to struggle again for the next school year lol.
Aww that is so wholesome haha
Personally, I don't think looking at your notes during an online test is wrong. School sucks, and it takes away too much of your time, energy, and resources. So any of that time I am able to take away and put somewhere else where I am actually excited and motivated, I savor.
That's really nice and kind ^^
@Quarter school is important, I don't think "sucks" is a good way to describe it, just because it takes "too much time, energy and resources", unless is a bad school. The idea of a quiz/test is that you can show your knowledge, without cheating.
I hated the school when I was young, and now I know how much I didn't learned because I was busy complaning about "how much time I waste at school".
I'm not a native speaker (a bit obvious, I know). But honestly, I hope you can understand why I said this.
@Miya-Miya Admittedly, I phrased it harshly and did not give much support to my claims. However, the reason I said school (specifically grade and high school) "sucks" is because a lot of the information taught to you will only be needed in the short term for things such as tests and quizzes. Yes, grade and high school are important, but that is only so that you can get into a good university or college.
@Quarter I understand it. Probably, if you can't or you don't want to go to a university/college isn't so useful. But, honestly, all knowledge allows you to understand the world. I'm a student at a university, and I try to learn many things out of my career to understand why and how the world works. I think is better get the best of the worst.
@Quarter I feel you. The education system itself honestly sucks. I think they should change that. I wish I was in Finland, they have a great system there haha
@Miya-Miya True. I realized that it's up to you on how you are going to apply in your life the things that you've learned in school.
@s_t_4_r I agree, the system isn't good. It's hard to have fun learning when the most part of teachers/proffessors show a face of "I hate my life". But, we can do it better than them and the system. Even in the university proffessors aren't good, neither other students. But we can be the difference.
Ps. I'm not a native speaker, sorry if I write weird.
