Day 12: Continuing to Write With A Conference

I am spending time with a conference my job is hosting about cyber security that is currently talking about defending yourself against cyber attacks. One of the methods an attacker can use in order to steal your information is phishing, which is a form of social engineering that can use email or text messages to get you to install malware to your device or get unauthorized access to your device to steal your information. About 98% of cyber attacks rely on social engineering and 53% of all social media accounts are fraudulent & potentially used to steal data. There are many scams that allow people to steal the information of others.
