Two girls (let's call them Girl A and Girl B) were on sleds, fleeing a mysterious evil man. Girl A was far in the lead. This pleased Girl A's mother, the evil Ice Queen; it looked like the mysterious man would catch and take Girl B, and then her daughter would be safe.
But Girl A had other plans. She maintained a mental link with Girl B. When the mysterious man caught up to Girl B and attempted to warp her to his dimension, Girl A used the mental link to swap places with her so that she got warped instead. She would defeat the mysterious man in single combat and protect her friend.
