I was looking at lineages and realized that Mango & Sago (chaser for The Reckoning) is the sister of Lobelia (Raubritter's first stud request). In fact, they're littermates. Mango is the superior hunter, though: she has 239 out of 342 successful hunts. Lobelia's hunting record is 7/106. What's going on there??
Our current and upcoming breeding projects:
- Project Sarder
- Objective: Get a cute 400-stat sarder boy to succeed Rubicon as pack leader, and maybe some other sarder wolves for the pack.
- Members: Raubritter (russet) + the girls: Zinfandel (dravite), Snickerdoodle (dravite), Firesoul (sarder)
- Plans: Raubritter is currently powerleveling. He should reach max level around his third birthday (end of February), and then we make it rain puppies. Hopefully we get someone good! Once we've selected an heir, we're going to scout him to level 10 before making him leader.
- Project Cool Merle
- Objective: Get cool-base wolves with 400+ stats, preferably with merle, ideally denim or diorite.
- Members: Miri (galena), Lucky Taro (lilac), their kids, various studs
- Progress: We've got three project pups so far.
- Cobalt Snowclone (Miri's girl): maltese, 410 stats
- Takaya (Taro's boy): blue with white merle, 424 stats
- Allagan Rot (Taro's boy): khaki with white merle, 424 stats (we're going to change his base to galena, at which point we'll also give him a non-mean name)
- Other/Miscellaneous
- I kind of want Fenrir to pass on his line. I might pairbond him with Lime to get more merledews. For Fenrir's pups I'd be willing to break the 400-minimum-stat rule.
- Fox studs are getting cheaper every day. Maybe I should chuck Mango at a 1000+ fox and see what we get...
